A Void is the retraction of a report in its entirety upon which the report is removed from the subject's record. A Void may be submitted by the reporting entity at any time.
When a Void is submitted, a Report Verification Document is returned to the reporting entity (either via the IQRS, QRXS, or ITP), and a Report Revised, Voided, or Status Changed notice is mailed to the subject of the report as well as to every entity that received the previous version of the report for the past three years. The reporting entity should also print and mail a copy of the Void to the appropriate State licensing board.
